Terms

Terms of Service

Last updated 19 June 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and UnifiedONE for using our platform. We have written them in plain language so you can read them without a legal dictionary. By using UnifiedONE you agree to what follows, so it is worth a few minutes.

The short version

  • Use UnifiedONE lawfully and only for environments you are allowed to protect.
  • You own your data. We own the platform.
  • The community shares validated threat information, never your private data, and you stay independent.
  • We run the service with care, but we cannot promise perfection, and these terms set out the limits.

This agreement

These terms apply when you access or use UnifiedONE, whether you are exploring on your own or your organization has signed up. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to do so. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the service.

What UnifiedONE does

UnifiedONE turns isolated defense into community protection. The platform connects to the tools you already use, validates threats, and helps stop them before they cause harm, while sharing what is learned with the wider community as Shared Defense Intelligence™. We are always improving the product, so specific features may change over time.

Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Please give us accurate information, keep it current, and let us know quickly if you think someone has gained access they should not have. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.

Acceptable use

We ask you to use UnifiedONE responsibly. In particular, please do not:

  • Use it for anything unlawful, or to harm others.
  • Connect or monitor environments you are not authorized to protect.
  • Try to break, overload, reverse engineer, or get around the security of the platform.
  • Resell or pass off the service as your own unless we have agreed to it in writing.
  • Upload anything that infringes someone else's rights or that you have no right to share.

The community and shared intelligence

The strength of UnifiedONE comes from organizations protecting each other. When the platform validates a threat in your environment, it can share that attacker information with the community so others are protected too. This is always limited to threat indicators. We share immunizations, not patient records. Your files, customers, and people are never part of it, and joining the community never gives anyone control over your environment. You stay independent.

Your data

Your data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We do not sell it, and we only use it in the ways set out there.

Plans and billing

You can start free and explore without payment. Paid plans, if you choose one, are billed as described when you sign up. Fees are payable in advance unless we agree otherwise, and where taxes apply they are added on top. If a plan changes, we will give you fair notice before it affects you.

Who owns what

We own the platform, its software, design, and the UnifiedONE name and marks, including Shared Defense Intelligence™ and Community Protection™. You own your data and your content. You give us only the permissions we need to run the service for you, and nothing more.

Third-party services

UnifiedONE works alongside other tools and runs within the Microsoft ecosystem. Those services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for how they operate. When you connect them, you confirm you are allowed to and that you will follow their rules as well as ours.

Availability and support

We work hard to keep UnifiedONE running smoothly and to support you well. From time to time we may need to take the service down for maintenance or make changes to keep it secure and current. Where a change is significant, we will give you reasonable notice.

What we can and cannot promise

Security is a moving target and no defense is ever absolute. We provide UnifiedONE with real care and skill, but we cannot guarantee that it will stop every threat or that the service will always be uninterrupted or error free. To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without warranties we have not expressly given.

Limits on liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using UnifiedONE and close your account whenever you like. We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly broken, or if we must do so to protect the service or other users. If we end your account without good cause, we will refund any fees you have paid for time you did not get to use. When the agreement ends, you can ask us to return or delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. If a dispute cannot be resolved between us, it will be handled by the competent courts of The Hague, without affecting any mandatory rights you have under the law of your own country.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and the law evolve. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top and, where it matters, tell you directly. If you keep using UnifiedONE after a change takes effect, that counts as accepting the new terms.

Questions about these terms

If anything here is unclear, or you would like to talk through how the terms apply to you, we are glad to help. Reach us and a person will reply.
